CMA

Certified medication aides (CMA) are responsible for administering medication to patients in an assisted living and group home setting. They work closely with health professionals and patients to administer and document medication, reading and transcribing physician orders. Other duties of CMAs is to assist patients with their activities of daily living. In addition to physical support, a CMA is compassionate and supportive to the patient and their family.
